Simpson drag racing shoes ???
Where can I find some of those Simpson drag racing shoes like the ones the pro stock guys wear ?

YEA WHATS UP 1bad12r? trying 2 get my post on man!I dont know about the shoes but they probaly work better than the road racing type (better feel) it might not matter if u start using an airshifter good luck if I run across them I will hit u up later MADKAW RACING

You really want to wear those wrestling shoes on the track? If you are going to wear some drag-specific boots, how about some with a little protection?
These are the Sidi Drag boots. More and more of the pro stock guys are moving to these. They're comfortable. They fit under your leathers. And, the toe pieces are replaceable.

The Simpson shoes are light and flexible, but the soles wear out pretty fast, especially if your drag your toe on the launch. I bought a pair off their website last winter http://www.simpsonracing.com/ for $100, and I think I'm gonna spring for a set of Bates Fastlanes http://www.batesleathers.com/boots.html this season - $220ish. They're leather and have a replaceable steel toe guard. I picked up one of the Sidi drag boots at a Prostar race and thought it was a bit heavy and stiff, but some folks like them. Schnitz Racing sells them for $185 I think.

Check out, www.BatesLeathers.com ...Click on boots and check out the DragRace boots...
Those are the boots of choice for most of the Prostar guys...Those will be my next pair of boots...
You can order them with extra metal on sides of the sole and order a wedge sole, so that there is no heel on the boot to get caught up on the footpeg!!!
