Fish-
Edelbrock 2 1/2" stainless "Cat back" system (unless Kerry makes one-I'm sure it is also good) and Jetronic computer. There are not many options, but I researched these pretty well and am very happy with the results. I get tons of comments on how my D sounds. I picked up about 2 mpg with these and the K&N cold air system, still use 87 oct unless I'm towing. Oh yeah, and a quick "cheapie " is a 160-180 F thermostat. It allows the computer to put in more advance- quite noticeable. The heat output suffers a little though, but I live in cold country and it's no big deal. I'd say about 20 hp is all you can get without going to headers and a cam.
I pretty much lust after the Kenne Bell blower kit ($4000). I drove a Shelby Durango with one and you can smoke all four tires on about 5 psi boost.
You might want to contact Mike Golightly at NX. He has a dry kit on his D and he sent me a photo of all four smokin'!

Yep. No problem. You lookin for a "Cat-Back" and/or Headers?
Cat-Back is an easy install and sounds great. HP is about 12-15 with no other changes. We use aluminized steel and it really seems to last as long as stainless (it's the same lifetime guarentee). If I remember correctly, we actually used 3" tubing on the Durango. Doug is pretty close on the 20 hp (total) with a computer mod.
If you go with Headers also, you can gain up to another 15 or so with ours. We use a "shortie" design for EO complinance. It's a fairly easy installation. The Headers are available in chrome or HPC coated (inside & out). Personally, I'd go with the coated (especially for the price you get to buy them for!!).
Just e-mail me if you want either or both. You of course get the longgggggggg ZX12 deal.
Hey Doug! - Don't you dare buy another brand of exhaust for any of your 4 wheel couches! Just say the word and it's on the way. And you know your money is no good with me....

Or what is a better answer. *Any* ECU mod for a car has about a zillion times more development than a PC does. Unless stated, the manufacturer has to meet emissions, including CARB. Just wait till '06, when this goes for bikes as well. Gonna be some late nights at Dynojet!

The Jetronic is a "piggyback" unit like a PC. It plugs into the ECU and the cable into it. There are not as many options in this area for MOPARS, there must be something unique about the ECUs. There are no inexpensive "chips" like on some GM mods.
KERRY- SO Sorry buddy. I just wasn't thinking. Of course the Jardine will do the job.

I had the PCM from Mopar($350) on mine. I really liked it. I drove a Dak with the BG flash (big $$$) on it with nothing else and it was nice. The PCM works good on a stock motor and bumps the timing, removes the speed limiter and raises shift points.
My Dak R/T had long tube Mopar headers, straight 4" exhaust, no cat and no mufflers as well. I turned Doug's head with it at Gainesville one year with the rumble at idle...lol
Did a 1/2 mile long burnout on wet pavement (those 17"s are expensive..lol") with 130mph wheelspeed showing... it sure gave my passengers something to laugh at (and a few other cars)...hehe.
I love that sound!
Ask YCIS.. he got a ticket in my Dak.
The turtle ran a 14.4@94 at Gainesville with the stock slippers (RSAs) on a 1.92 60ft. weighing 4400lbs.
The M1 Mopar intake works good upstairs and pulls to 5800rpm... you lose some torque early in the powa band though.
A cam, M1 intake, and heads make almost 100hp difference. Ive heard of regular cabs Dak R/Ts going 12s over 100mph on stock motas.
