Might I be in "Trouble"?
When speaking to Pierre, he also mentioned that their big Magazine "SPEED & SOUND" did an article about Gainesville. Pierre pointed them to what I has said and it looks like they may have printed what I wrote "Word for Word"! Bergie, They printed some of your pictures also! I will have a few copies in a few weeks, so more on this later! But for a taste!http://www.speedandsound.co.za/
Here is what the Promo states:
"The Bear Racing Team (Kawasaki boys) have just returned from attending the SBS World Finals in Gainesville, Florida where their new rider, Fransie Engelbrecht, showed the Yanks how a turbo'd bike should be ridden. Listening to all the stories of the trip is actually quite sad; the Yanks are actually a bunch of real sore losers and even worse sportsmen, with the exception of some genuine guys like Rickey Gadsen and his crew. There's some really cool pix from the event along with the proof of some really amazing times and speeds."

Since it was a magazine, they should have gotten permission from Bergie to print his pictures.

The truth is the truth! Look at Stromg Thurman! WHo would havs Thunk it! Diping his Pen Literally in the "Ink" Well  I thought about the pictures (which I also have not seen either), but my thought is once on the Internet!! That is about it! If they used "Bergie" pictures, I hope that at least they mentioned his name? We will see what we will see as soon as I get a copy of the magazine! Thanks, MM & Voz, glad that I know some Real people!

Mostly cars are on the covers (Hence the sound part) The article is in the Magazine which they do not print up on the web site. The part I printed is on that current issue page and about 6 or 7 paragraphs down in the center colum.

I dont mind that they use my pictures, but it would be nice to at least receive a complimentary issue of the magazine or at least a mention of the website

Don't you think I have made sure that I get more than "1" issue? After I get the "Issues" and give you a copy, "Then" we will know what they did or did not do! I am willing to BET that they showed at least 1 picture of that Yellow (Shirted) with Red (face & neck PROSTAR official under the bike and maybe the one where he is looking at his fingers after the inspection under Bear's Bike! We will see

I printed out what the page said and there is "Nothing" else on the web site! It is in the magazine which when Bergie gets his hands on it can post it here!

just because a picture is on the internet doesn't mean that it is free to use.
or text, or anything else ;p
sooo if they failed to ask bergie to use his pictures to make profit, they need to be thumped a good one. especially since they are using his piuctures apparently to help bash "yanks"
anyway look forward to seeing what exactly they put on there...

In this case, the "Yanks" that they are bashing, did it The Old Fashion way "They EARNED It"! To me, it felt like me being at a clan meeting by mistake and then someone pulls off my hood! It was obvious and it was Bad! Just the Yelling at the rider on the starting Line by the other competitors and what they were saying was the worse sportsmenship I have ever seen! Let alone what the Officials were doing! I did not get to watch some of the racing, because I had to film tech after the runs to have on tape that the rider went through tech and passed! The expression "Like a long tail cat in a rocking chair convention" sort of fit!
I think it will be good if Bergies pictures were posted and in a way, Bergie was part of the team, he ate with us, went out with us, so it will be nice to see some of his work published!
