hmmmmmmm....... I hope its true, but even the obvious 14t glitch and 221mph BS, i just don't feel right about this one.
Again, I hope its on the level.

maybe he saw 221 on the speedo, which is entirely possible.
obviously those gearing numbers are wrong though!
if it were right, he'd have LESS top end than a 6R!

My ass....wtf kinda "One off muzzy pipe" costs 2450?
How does a "clutch and tranny" cost 2500 when he only replaced the clutch?

with that gearing he may get the speedo to 221, but the bike will NEVER go that fast, even with 240 ho, it would have to spin 18000 RPM to get that kind of speed out of it......my 02 12R dropped one tooth in the front and down from a 200 to a 190 rear tire will only do an actual speed of about 177mph. But it will bury the speedo easy.....And does anyone even make a 14t sprocket for the 12??? I have never seen one, I think 16 was the lowest I have ever seen. I dont think the chain would pivot around a 14t well, it would seem like it would almsot kink up on a sprocket that small.. JMO

What about the 4500ft elevation?
As for the mph... no way unless he's fogging the hell out of the bike.

correct me if I am wrong but doesnt the yellow box only correct a 6% mph error difference in Speedo? this guy is up 5 or so teeth in the back, and down 4 in the front?? Some how that seems a lot more than a 6% error, with this gearing no matter what hp, the bike would have to spin atleast 18000 RPM to be able to turn the back tire fast enough to make up for that gearing, even with a shot of NO2 it still cant turn enough RMP's to make up for the ULTRA low gearing....I dont think they could get enough RPM's out of it with even a16T on the front to go 221mph...hell some of the guys out here are going up in the front to try to get 200mph out of their bikes....the numbers just dont add up....

18/42 with 190/55 rear tyre - 11,400 equals 204/5 mph electronically timed (not speedo). Looks like bollox to me. Keith

ok Richard, thanks for the info, but even so, there is no mention of there being a yellow box on this bike....in which case with those supposed gears, the bikes speedo is so far off from being correct it would be a joke to take speed off of the bikes speedo. Thanks to you as well YCIS.....
how much HP are you looking at with that bike, not that its really that relavent Keith? Just wondering....

I also dont think a 14T sprocket would clear the swingarm. It sure would eat through that plastic swingarm guard on the top with ease.

The engine was assembled and dynoed in Bend, shipped to Colorado. It is a strong running 1361, but the power claims after that are the responsibility of the owner. All of the parts referred to as "Muzzys" are right out of our catalog.
