Muzzy fork strap

Just trying to do it right the first time.Which end of the strap would you put on the lower caliper bolt and any helpful hints on what to do with the free end?

Doesn't the free end go around your neck?

Strap is easier and a little more temporary job that raising the forks up each time you want to go drag race.. Plus it gives a little bit of steering damping action as you tighten the strap..

I don't lower my fork tubes because I like it full height when I ride it on the street. What little twisties I have to ride I want to enjoy

So it gets strapped when I go to the track.

I have to find some spacers tomorrow for the caliper bolts.Thinking about sewing velcro on to the loop end so it won't dangle and will be readily in reach.

two lock washers work perfect as a spacer and you need to zip tie that strap or you will have problems. you dont want the pull end coming loose and getting in your front wheel...
