Will they test an '04? Would be interesting to see how an 2004 ZX12R compares against the other bikes, with the revised fuel injection and brakes.

i'll say. other than loosing 50 pounds and puttin in the 1270 kit, sounds like they finally got it pretty much perfected! unless the injection proves to be less than great, i'd like to trade in my 00 on an 04. not that it'll happen, but i'd LIKE to

What! I didn't say anything of the kind. I said exactly the opposite, that there were not any production 10's in the country, that we wouldn't have one until around the first of the year, and that I had not ridden one. I also did NOT say that the 10 was a"one dimensional bike". Dave asked me what my personal preference in a motorcycle was and I said I liked the 12 because I could travel on it and it was more suited to the remote open roads of central Oregon where I live. I said that the 10 had a "narrower focus" and that if I still lived in San Francisco and was riding The Sunday Morning Ride on the coast, the ZX-10 might be preferable. Sheesh!

I didn't have a chance to listen to your interview, but the info I relayed came from the other horses mouth, which makes a horses ass out of me. I should have know better.
