If you end up going with Slip-Ons, they really don't need a fuel change.

Then definetly go with what they've developed for it, and tune from there. I'm sure they'll give you a great baseline setting.

Im actually at Fort Rucker, Alabama. It in UCLA (Ugliest Corner of Lower Alabama). About 1 1/2 hours north of Panama City. Im in a Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Test Pilot school for the UH-60 Blackhawk. I will be here until Mar 04, then I move back to California. I picked up my Z1000 today (Black 03 model). If you are near panama city...HP Cycles is a bit closer to you.

www.hpcycles.com

Jeff is one of the best sportbike mechs ive ever met...damn nice guy too!

I used to go there before SMTW opened up...he has a dynojet as well but not the tuning link software....will still get you where you want to be.

Ditto on HPCycles, Jeff is the man to call for tuning a bike.

are they bike nazis at rucker? here at Schofield they HATE bikes so many rules and regulations. They make you take the safety course on EVERY bike that you own. How's the shops there in the Daleville Dothan area?

dam I think the Infantry guys need to pull their heads out of their 4th point of contact. her in Ft Stewart you take the course once, and your card is good for everybike you own or ride. It certifies the rider not the bike....go figure......

If you have the card from a preious class you are good.
Im not too experianced with the shops here, but they are like everywhere else, I don't trust them and I do my own work.

hey Red good thing about rucker is that you are close eough to th mountains of North GA and Norht AL to go ride on the weekend, its what I have to do as well......I am at Ft Stewart, near Savannah GA. I have to ride up to the mountains to get some good riding in, or go to the track. if ya make it up to North GA then you can hit Wolfpen gap, or Deals Gap isnt too far away either....I usually stay at TWO. twowheelsonly.com there is another motorcycle camp just south of Birmingham AL.....its called 29 Dreams...I dont have a website for it though.
