I want silence from everyone in a few minutes

A few minutes of silence please for those lost two years ago, for their families who deal with their loss everyday, for those troops who have died in battle, for those troops still at work right now and for those troops that are home safe.

God bless those of the unsuspecting casualties of september 11.....its one thing to be a soldier and be put in harms way, but quite another to be at home in your day to day routine, and have everything taken from you.

As a soldier we know that we take a risk in what we do, and I salute my fellow soldiers of every branch of service. Every man and women in the service is invaluable to what we do, no matter what job they do. I can not express how strongly I feel about my fellow servicemembers.
But I do know how we/I feel about what happened to this nation on September 11. And I hope that this national pride craze that is about doesnt fade, and that it pushes this country towords the fellowship that this country was founded on. I fear that with time the craze of national pride will fade, and with that, the significance of September 11 will also fade, and we as Americans can never let that happen. The people that are responsible should be hunted until the end of the earth and back if necessary, and If I have to go back to do that, then I will pack my bags and gladly go to whereever I need to, to insure that those responsible are brought to justice.

Please everyone today, take the time to thank a fireman, or policeman, or a serviceman to show your gratitude for what they do day in and day out for this country. And for all of us that call the UNITED STATES ....HOME ! ! !

You can only imagine what it will mean to each and everyone of them....trust me somethimes it can be a thankless job.....

I want to be the first...I know there are some police man on this board, and I want to THANK YOU for what you do...I apoligize that I cant call everyone of you by name, but you know who you are, and you know what you do...and so do we ! ! !

...thanks HDL...let me add that cops and firemen cannot do it alone...its the citizens' help that makes it all worthwhile and gets all of us through...
