quote: I will be rolling in my new GMC seirra 1500 with an MSRP of $72,251.23.
$72K? It must be one hell of a getto thumpin', AWD, AWS, 325 HP Denali. In other words, a dressed up lil' 1/2 ton POS wanna be truck set up to tow your sailboat to lake. Man, the musta seen you comin' lollipop! Boy... did you just fall of the turnip truck or did they just use your head as a dead blow hammer when you were a baby? That's okay though, I got just the ticket for you when you do a "Clifford" instead of a "Waldo"...

I'll be cheaper than a wrecker, too!
What I wanna know is how can that thing of yours be all most 4" wider, yet have a front track that's almost 5" SHORTER! Must be that Independent front end. That pimpin' AWD is probably pretty good for dodgin' those Chi-town potholes (I just drive right through 'em). Still, if I were you, I wouldn't go beyond a gravel road with those CV boots stickin' out like that. It'd get down right ugly if one of them suckers got ripped while you were out tryin' to act like a REAL 4x4 TRUCK.
I think they got the letters mixed up when they were namin' that "truck". Instead of "Denali", it outta be "Denial". 'Cuz it sure does try awful hard to not be a real truck. At least you can watch a movie with that DVD player, while you wait for someone to come pull ya out of a lil' mud hole. You might have been better off put a lift kit and some Super Swampers on a Lexus. Probably cheaper too.
Surely, with all that towing capacity, you ain't gonna pull that sweet bike to the Gap with that Harley towin' "utility" trailer of yours, are ya? Hell, boy, that thing's better suited for hauling cut wood (in small amounts), than haulin' something so purty as your bike.
With the towing abilities of that wanna be truck, you can pull a big ole enclosed trailer. Not that you'd need the extra space of a rolling toolbox (it that thing that mechanics keep screwdrivers and sockets in), but considering your "track record" at the Gap, you might need the room for some spare parts. Better yet... a spare bike!
Can wait to see ya so I can gladly give ya my King of the Posers crown.
BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Otis, you won't need to go get that crappy acetone from Home Depot. That shit is bearly stronger than drinking water. I'll have some of my lacquer thinner from work. We have it specially blended to where it is far more "agressive" than anything you could buy at the store. Hell, when you compare it's MSDS sheet to that HD crap, their stuff is WATER!

HDL, I don't even OWN a truck. The "company" lets me borrow their truck. Of course, they let me drive it home too. I haven't owned a "four wheeled" vehicle since the early 80's. I couldn't afford one at even today's "used" prices anyway, much less new! As for my trailer, I'm still makin' $50 a month payments to it's previous owner and I've had it since the first DG event on 5/01!

Not quite. S.O.B. - Son Of Boss.
Though my parents have be retired for many years, nothing has been done in turning (or selling... loaning... whatever) the company shares over to my sister and myself since my brother died. They were going to split it evenly between the three of us.
Since they hold all the shares between them, if they something happens to them (both in their 70's) before we get anything else done, I guess we'd have to sell the company to pay off the estate taxes and I'd end up working at my Kawasaki dealership in the parts department (too slow and methodical to be a profitable mechanic).

Sherm, that's not right man, you need to encourage them to get a plan in place and sell you shares. My father has the plan in place here for 5 years. They retire December 31st. My brother and I already each own 12.5% of the co and when my parents retire we are buying what would amount to 51% of the stock with the 49% split between the two of them. That way if they go whacky in their old age they can't do anything without approval of at least one son. Then when they pass away all the rest of the stock will be willed to my brother and I. It's obviously a LOT more complicated than that but it's fair to everyone. I'd hate to see you get squashed with the Death Tax Red, that would suck.

Almost, at the moment I am carefully planning the best possible way to fuck off and do nothing today and tomorrow at work. There are still quite a few things needed to be done but one thing I am good at is DELEGATING. I think my staff may be a little busier today and tomorrow. LOL
