Clutch Plates came in, should I...
I know the friction plates are supposed to be saoked in oil for a bit before installation. How long beforehand? Should I put them in a container full of oil before I leave Detroit to come to the gap? Or do they only need to soak for a couple hours?

Take a shallow pan, dip the friction plates in it, wipe off excess oil with your fingers and install them. The most important thing is to clean any new steels with acetone or contact cleaner to remove the packaging grease.

Does anyone have a good source to purchase plates and fibers for a muzzy clutch for a reasonable price?

The "Muzzy plates and fibers" are OEM Kawi parts.

You might check our price on these. I think it is the least out there. Correct me if I'm wrong.
