Swapping cylinder heads '00 to '01 w/ECU
I have two 12Rs one '00 and one '01. The 2000 has a Lee's ported head that I want to move to the 2001 model. My question is can I SWAP THE HEADS as long as I ALSO SWAP THE COMPUTERS? i.e. move the head and ECU from the green 2000 to the silver 2001 and vice-versa.. Will this avoid the problem with cam pickup?

You can swap the heads and merely swap the ECU or you can re-orient the cam position sensor. We have instructions- it's not difficult.

So I do not need to also swap wiring harness just ECU and head/cams?

Doug,where could we get the info to re orient the cam position sensor so i could use the 2001 head in my 2000 bike?thank you
