Is 2 wheel tuesday DEAD?! For two weeks now, I have been looking forward to bike night on speed. But instead, that old guy with headphones just taking any ol' calls is on or new car test drives......Is motorcycles gone?! I can see why they have an advertising issue, they will soon have an audience issue!!!

apparently Dave Despain gets the ratings....that's all that matters to Speed. Don't forget he used to be a Road Altanta motorcycle roadracer, & I'll bet he hates taking those calls from the NASCAR southerners...
"....I ain't in flavor of those damn restriction plates...." etc. ad nauseam...

I remember when he walked into a ESPN broadcast w/a cast & crutches from a bail at Road Atlanta. They (Boomer) raised hell with him live about "idiots" racing bikes.
I heard later he was given a choice, broadcasting on a national network.... or bike racing. He retired from racing....

Well at least I got to watch the part of the drag race I missed on "ESPN2"! I missed a little of it because I had nodded off "Again"! I also missed Bubba! I remember when ESPN Started out and 90% was Sports Center! Now Speed has the ??Wind Center!
Dave had real problems with his arm and it took a long time to heal! I remember seeing him in the different cast and braces! when he was on the late Great Speedvision! Anyone remember the rumors about NASCAR Taking over Speedvision?? What has happened??

That's one good thing about Europe. Their motorcycle coverage. And of course their motorcycle magazine. They aren't as uptight as we are here.

I know what you'd like to see, Turbo. Sorry, but watching race drivers suck start their vehicles won't help ratings, even though you might think it's exciting.

Already been there, done that. Sent an email to Greg White, asking him what his plans were now that TWT is dead and gone. Another one to Dave D, asking him if it was true that they surgically removed his spine and the word 'motorcycle' from his vocabulary.

yeh it went to 5 hours a tuesday, plus hour or 2 of same dayc overage on sundays
thoughi t is odd that the bike coverage is in daytime, i would htink daytime would be the prime time for the nascar-welfare recipients. let the motorcyclists who work during day have the evening
but NOOO cannot take even one day's primetime away fomr the nascaraholics.
what is sad, at work one saturday, listening to radio, and they started doing live coverage of a nascar race.
dood....listening to paint fall off the walls and hit the floor was more exciiting.
i have NO idea what is entertaining about LISTENING to live coverage of a stupid race, you can't even see the crashes!!
proof that some people are just toooo easily entertained.
and there are too many of them, which is why speed went to nascartv. more money in nascar. the last dollars they have go to lottery tickets and nascar highlights.

Dont even get me started on this but it is a shame. It is sickening that they sit and talk about a damn race for 2 hours. Hell they didnt even show the replay of F1 until 1am. They used to replay it at 9pm. Screw them.
