I know what you mean, but it's time to move on.

That's what he would 've said.

Thanks Necro; I think it was one of those "Freudian" things.

Few days after 9/11 ZHooligan, swft, and myself were planning a ride to MT Hood (I believe). I told ZHooligan that I am feeling down and I don't feel like riding. He lectured me about the fact us Americans are strong. We move on and live our lifes.

I'll never forget that.

So now it's our turn to be strong and "move on".

Yes, what choice do we have, but it sure is an empty, helpless feeling as one considers there's absolutely nothing you can do about it....

Actually, that was Mount Saint Helen's. We (Zhooligan and Myself) had actually loaded up Necro's bike in the trailer and were expecting him to be there before he called and cancelled out. So we had to unload the bike and tie everything else back down. We were both kind of disappointed by that, but had a great time. That was our "Forest Ranger" adventure. l(

Today coming home from work I had a "Don ride".

I'll explain shortly.

I did 170 mph today going home. I was racing another motorcycle. It was crazy. At one point I had to brake so hard because a car was stopped on the road because the car infront had to make a left hand turn that the rear end started fish tailing. I was worried he was going to run into me.

Cars were getting out of the way. This is like Don days.

When Don and I got on the road together it was war. I don't know was crazier me or him.

Ah it makes one feel feel alive again.

What a rush feeling.

Yeah - want to feel alive? Try having a fookin' tail pack getting lodged in your rear tire at about 170.

Zhoo would have been proud, I'm sure.

You know he's smiling as he's reading all this, Necro.

Most likely some of these pains might surface every once in a while. It's good, though, to remember. Nothing wrong with that.

What's your favorite Don story of you two riding like that?

Ah so many. Let's see!

Probably the one I mentioned a while back. When my bike had 990 miles on it and I went to this house Friday afternoon to do roll ons with his CRR1100XX that was a monster. I told him that by the time we get to the freeway my bike will have a 1000 miles on it (as if 10 miles make a difference).

Anyway he beat my beat and enjoyed every minute of it.
