KX 250 (off topic a little)
Got a hell of a deal on a brand new 03 Kawasaki KX 250 with a Pro Circuit pipe on it. Anyone out there have any experience with these? I've not dirt biked much,but I think it would be fun just to pop wheelies and spray a little dirt around with my little 6 year old. He has a KTM Pro Senior 50 LC. Any tips would be greatly appreciated before I go out this weekend. Thanks

I ride moto-x almost every Thursday & Saturday on my YZ450F. So I give you only two tips for your new toy;
1. Don't forget to add oil to the gas.
2. Never forget that Dirt is for planting potatoes, asphalt is for racing.
Ok, just kiddin.... I spent a few weeks on the new KX's. Wait till you get a load of the powerband! At 220 lbs, 47 hp, & 2 stroke powerband, she's a runner. If you get traction at the same time you're coming into the meat of the band, she'll give you quite the thrill. Enjoy spanking (sic) your 6 year old while you can. I started my kids off when they were 4 years old. Now they're 17 & 23 and kicking my ass! (but only in the dirt). Plus, they do all the doubles & triples, while I roll them. Dam kids....

you are alerted to them in the "floating who's online" window.... it will say new message waiting ... you generally only receive them when you are in the main forums index so if you bypass that and never go there then there is a chance you have a pile of IM's stacked up.... basically you can send an IM to anyone who is online at the same time as you (unless they say "IM disabled"... )
