My parents called us at the track on Sunday before the races even started. .Right at noon. Said Alli had a 105degree temp and was really bad off. We, of course, left the track immediately. As you may recall, Michelle drove her car and I rode the bike down. We set a pretty fast pace home to say the least. I couln't make it all the way on fuel so I pulled off in Monroe Mich to fill up. Got back on the road and proceeded to run 130-150 the rest of the way home. Got into the city and was still running 120-140 weacing in and out of traffic when I look behind me and there is a State Trooper a bit behind me but lights blazing and cars jumping out of his way (why don't they do that for me?). Anyway I immediately slow and move to the center lane and he comes up on my left and his car is litterally only inches from my left leg. So I start to move over and he comes right with me, inches away. I slow to a crawl and get on the shoulder on a bridge and he sandwiches me in between his car and the concrete. He is pissed off. Told me he almost went off the road trying to catch me, I said where did you see me and he said back at I-94. DOH! he'd been trying to catch me for over 5 miles, no wonder he was pissed. I tld him about Alli being really sick and I had to get to her and I even showed him a picture of her I had in my wallet when I was getting my documents. Said I was doing 140mph and recklessly weaving in and out of traffic. Thought for sure I was going to jail so I asked if he had any kids, and he said he has two daughters, I said so you can image the panic you would have if you got a call in Ohio from your parents telling you to come home quick your daughter is really sick. He said yes, but he wouldn't break the law to get home. I said well, I was willing to to. I said I don't care about the ticket just please hurry up so I can go. Well, no jail for me and only wrote me for 100 in a 70. Could have been much worse. Still sucks though.

I'd have wiped my ass with his ticket book.... That's fucked up Chris, even though you were pushing the envelope a little.
What is with it with you and I ???? We be some ticket collectin' MFs eh? I gotta go to drivin' school this Thursday night over ANOTHER ticket. Atleast it ain't goin' on the ol' drivin' record.
I've really gotta be careful in September. I'm now in the computer @ Blount County. Shows where I was issued a warning ticket back in June. The officer said absolutely no breaks would be given to me the next time I was pulled over in Blount County. What nerve he had, does he actually think I'll just pull over now?!?!?!?
How's alli??? WTF made her temp go up so damned high?
posted July 28, 2003 04:37 AM
It's some kinda wicked virus. Her temp was down a bit this morning but you know with a virus you can't do anything but give her Tylenol to try to keep the temp down, give her cool baths periodically and basically, wait it out. This is the 1st time she has ever been sick and it just breaks my heart to see her like this. I'll tell you one thing though, it's great to have a wife that is a nurse at times like this. Michelle is so calm and cool about it and knows exactly what to do.

Within the last year I've got two tickets. I need to stoppulling over I guess!
One for 108 in a 45 in Little Rock. I paid the court $250 and never had to go to court or defensive driving. That lets you know it is all about the $$$$.
The other one I got Memorial Day weekend coming in from Texarkana. 93 in a 55 by a lady State Trooper. She wrote it down to 85 in a 55. Went to court, paid $125 and supposed to take defensive driving to keep it off my record. Matter of fact, I was supposed to be there July 13th. Hmmmmm, better call them and set up another time before I get an FTA, huh!

kawachan, your just not a "people person". I have been pulled over 30 times in the past 6 years while on my bike. Still a perfectly clean driving record. ____________

I am trying to find a lawyer now. How the hell do you pick one for traffic? My business attorney is on vacation this week so I can't even call him for a referral.

Attorney..... Otis,
With my colorful lifestyle I am in contact with my lawyer almost daily. I may lay out the scenario for him and see what he says. I can almost guarantee you that having your attorney present when you go to court will be in your favor. I won't say I'm a big fan of lawyers, but my friend, who is also my attorney, has helped me in so many ways over the past year, I'm thankful for him.
Until a few years ago I didn't even know the guy. Met him while out scoping new roads out. He had a ZX9R and was a rider for sure. We hit it off and have been buds ever since. I wasn't even gonna strain our friendship when I was faced with divorce, I was gonna get a local guy. Shit my buddy said "HELL NO YOUR NOT". He took care of me through that, and everything he told me was spot on. HE has also handled all the other legal "fall out" that has come along with the divorce.
He's been a friggin' godsend for sure. I'm going to a party at his house this Saturday night as a matter of fact.
I hope he takes the batteries out of his smoke alarms.

I have never used one b4 for a ticket but I really need to this time. If anything so he may be able to cut a deal with the prosecutor. I'm afraid if I go alone and stand up to a judge who sees triple digits on a ticket, I'm in deep shit.

Especially, when the cop wrote on the ticket 9you can't make it out real well in the pic above), Weaving in and out of traffic using all lanes at 100+. Once, again OUCH!

Yeah dude, definitely get some representation. You'll be glad you did. Maybe you can get out of it with a fine and some community service work, maybe a donation to the local anti-drug fund. It's really all about the $$$$ anyway. Everything has it's price.
