Muzzy aluminum fans?

has anyone used these fan blades on an 02 model. I am thinking about putting these on my bike, I am not having any overheating issues, but here in southern ga you cant be to safe. I am wondering what it involves, and if the lowly do it yourselfer with no mechanical knowledge like myself can do it, or do I need to pay someone else? Jim

I havent noticed any issues yet.
How comfortable are you taking the radiator off?? Its attached by 2 12mm bolts (you'll need a long extension) and one bracket on the clutch lever side of the bike.

Piece-o-cake on a '03. Be sure to check that they spin freely after install, but before you put the whole assembly back on bike. Adjust blades to ensure clearance on the fins. Directions are detailed and easy to understand. While the radiator is drained, do yourself a favor and install some Redline Water Wetter. Dive in!

We had them in stock when your bike was here
They DO move more air...and won't warp/melt from header heat...
I installed them on the 1361 we built...no probblems...
You can also instal a toggle switch accross the temp switch (on front of radiator...left side) if you want to "stay ahead of the temp" by turning it on when you know you'll be stopped (but running) for a few minutes...
NOT realy nec. but we have one on John's bike so we can turn the fan on...on the way back from a run down the track since the return road speeds are so slow...
