Guess I'm out, my motor is still stock. It is a good looking set up.

Note: We do not recommend this pipe on a stock ZX-12 as this is not the intended use of this design and performance may not be satisfactory on a stock displacement, stock compression engine.

whoa --- a tad over 1600 bucks... pricey, but it looks SO DAMN COOL. U sure that a "regular" engine won't notice a difference doug? The way the exhaust gases look like they would flow out - it looks less restrictive?

OH! one more thing Doug, can Muzzy just set up some kind of "automatic paycheck withdraw system" or something??? That way you guys can just suck out money from my paycheck each month and automatically send me out the coolest new stuff - and I won't have to 'splain it to my chickie!!!

J/K Doug, thanks for all the GREAT work you and your team does for us '12 owners. I think I need to set up a muzzy "I need that list", so I can keep track of all the stuff I still want to do...

1361...
Nitrous kit...
Fuel pump...
Air Shifter...
NEW cool exhaust...

man I have good dreams .

Guys,

Right there on the web page it pretty much says this really isn't a streetable pipe. And yes, it looks absolutely wicked. But for the street, I'll stick with my 'regular' muzzy pipe on my 1347. Course, that might work well on the bike when I take it to Bonneville.

Dan - I am going to test the pipe on the dyno as soon at it arrrives. Not going to change anything but the pipe. First we are going to test the new muzzy cams after they are installed. Hopefully the pipe will be here by the end of the week. I will post the results of both tests.

some engines have been said to be turned to near 13000 rpms

not unusual or unreasonable to consider that a properly set up engine
could turn another 10%...... that would be knockin on 13000
sometimes more

i for one would like to see those test results
the pipe looks awesome
wouldnt mind having in a slightly smaller diameter for the street
have always liked the 4 into 1's
instead of the 4 into 2 into 1's

Sure enough not to recommend it.

For drag race purposes stock stroke can be reved up to 13,200. Stroked motors 13,000. Pro Stock you better be able to run 13,500 or don't go.

I was thinking that too, Doug. Going by his screen name, I'm assuming he has a 1361. Does it work better for each increase in displacement?? ie 1270 -> 1322-> 1361 -> 1375-> 1427

Is Muzzy ever going to release a product (besides the EMS) that will bump the rev limiter up a bit?? 2-500 adjustable or maybe a lil more...... !!

Got my dealer checking for me right now. I wish I was rich!!
