1270 TO 1361 UPGRADE

I am a happy 1270 owner thinking of a stroker for a winter project.Has anyone ridden both? Is it worth the extra cash and possible divorce? Cliff Randall, are you considering this,or staying with the 1270?

For now , I'll hold with the Muzzy 1270 producing 196hp and 110lbs of torque, I love it!!
When and if I should need an engine rebuild, I will install the Muzzy 1360 kit without hesitation.
Cheers,
Cliff

Since I'm prolly the only one here with both, and a stocker in the garage, I can tell you that, unless you have a specific need for it, the 1361 isn't going to be near the transformation that the 1270 was. Remember when you first uncorked the 1270? How there was this tremendous blast, and you were whipping through the clouds? You went right by Gabriel on his chariot, and right over the gates of horsepower heaven. The almighty himself came down and slapped you on the back. Then you rolled off, and the world came back around you, whipping by at an incredible speed. And you remembered 'oh yeah, I'm a mortal' and had to slow that beast down.

Just inspired! The red 12 is back together, might go pick it up tomorrow if the weather holds! Major tuneup time on it, had the valves checked, new plugs, bunch of stuff lubed. Steering head bearings were checked too! Can't wait to get it home and put the EBC rotors on it, but honestly, I might save them for springtime. Friend of mine just got the Galfer wave rotors for his 12, they're lighter than the EBC rotors, but not a *TON* lighter, ya know?
