high altitude racers

I live in albuquerque and have run a best of 10.55@134 mph. The altitude is 5300ft. I weigh 220 lb in leathers. I was wondering if anyone up in the colorado, wyoming, etc has run a 9 sec et. If so what types of mods were done and how much does the rider weigh? Currently i have all the bolt on stuff and my bike went from 11.0's 131 (stock) to its current best of 10.55. My best mile per hour has been 135.6 and best 60ft of 1.75. My bike dynoed 169 hp corrected with a 1.21-1.24 correction factor. My goal is to run nines here at mile high. thx

re:Mile High

Nobody runs high 9's at mile high w/o serious work. ie; Big Bore kit(not those weak 1270, 1290 kits) You need 1361+ at least along w/serious headwork w/cams and at least 13.5+ compression.

Unless of course you run NOS which fixes everything.

But of course running ETs is just all about the short times, right?

Here you go! Slam it, strap it, stretch it, slick it, slide it!!!

With your current setup, you should run high 9's now with the aformentioned tips.

I'm close but not that high. I'm down in Alamogordo. I usually race at Arroyo Seco and Roswell, both at 3600 or so. I haven't been into the 9's yet, but I'm trying. Best I've had so far was a 10.60 @ 135. Only thing I've done is a full muzzy system and PCIIIR.
