Sidecar team need advice

Hi,we are a F1 Sidecar team running a LCR chassis with ZX-12R(A1 model) engine with Stock wiring and ems etc.We need a new Engine and would like to know if the latter models engines(B1) can be made to run on A1 models wiring and ecu, have heard that the cam sensors are different, but is it the case that if you fit the rotor off the A1's camshaft onto a later model engine it will Run or is there more to it than this. Can anyone help?Whos tried to do somethig similar with the bike?or does any one have a A1(2000 model ) engine for sale. Please Help, trying to get back on track asap

To run a B1 exhaust cam with A1 wiring you need to transfer the cam position rotor "plug" and retaining pin over from the A1 cam to the B1 cam. Then you need to grind the locating tab off of the rotor and move it 45 degrees counter-clockwise (roll it back). This will make the cam position sensor rotor position compatible with the A-1 wiring and ECU. We (Muzzys) have complete new B2 engines for sale @ $4995 complete with throttle bodies.
