Jennings Gp track day 6-30-2003
I went to jennings gp yesterday and did a track day and was it ever a lot of fun! It was my second time going to jennings as I went a couple of weeks ago when they did their open house (free riding) The people who run the track and work there are very friendly but they are on top of any safety issues very fast.I met quite a lot of nice people and had a great time.
The ZX-12 is a very versitile motorcycle. I was at the dragstrip on wednesday and did a track day (road race) the following monday. I'll be glad when I get my dragbike done so I won't have to constantly change the suspension settings. Thank goodness I have kennedy adjustable links!
I talked to one guy there that owns a zx-12 and he said there was no way he would ride a 12 around that track. It is suited to smaller bikes.I rode in the intermediate level riders as the novice group I rode with on the first day were for the most way too slow. I'm not saying I'm fast , cause I'm not, but I'm also not the slowest either. I passed quite a few people in the inter group so I felt comfortable there. There a few of the pro's that like to ride in the intermediate group as well.
I paid a guy to follow me around and video tape me in the afternoon ($25) I've seen some of his work and he;s good. He edits it and dubs music to the cd also. I found this pic on the georgia sportbikes website.
