great movies, Gozr!

Vincent, I made it into the semis where I lost to a guy on a turbo Z1. He decided to wait until he ran against me to cut a 0.418 light. I still had a blast though...

You did not say what your best time was or if you even got a clean pass!

Sorry, Vincent. I didn't score a PR because I was deep staging to get a better reaction time. Doing that hurt my ET and MPH on the other end so I couldn't quite verify whether or not the bear stacks actually helped. Plus, I didn't really make a totally clean pass all day. If you look at Gozr's first video (the big one,) you'll notice one launch where it looks like I bogged really bad off of the line. Actually, what happened is that the tip of my finger got caught on the clutch lever, and I ended up accidently pulling the clutch in a bit at the launch. That was pretty well indicative of what happened the rest of the day.

That is why I mentioned "Clean" Run, where you had everything go right for you! Yes I saw the start / Stop start again and wondered what you were doing! You did pretty good them for a Person!! that was not dialed in!

Thanks, Vincent. Having consistently good reaction times makes up for a lot of inconsistencies everywhere else. For everything else, I just dial soft and do my best to just keep a tire in front of the guy in the other lane hoping he doesn't break out too.

What's funny is what I heard from the guy who beat me in the semi's. He rides a pimp turbo Z1 that consistently runs in the 9.0's. It's pretty rare when he doen't have a horsepower advantage at any given round. Because of this, he will occasionally play an evil game with people he doesn't like. He will actually dial the exact same number as the guy in the other lane even if it's in the 12's. He'll usually launch and use just enough throttle to keep a wheel in front of the other guy. It's not against the rules, but I don't think it's cool.

Then someone should dial a number just below what they cannot make and make him run out!
