Hurricane Ridge today

Was a nice ride. Nothing crazy, but some fairly good asphalt and really pretty scenery all the way up.

Zhooligan's bike, on the east side of the Hood Canal Bridge

Swft's ZZR

Zhooligan!

He told me to go play in traffic after taking the last shot.

West side of the bridge. This is the half that sank!

"Where do I mount the Jato?"

Ok, that's Bellingham over there...And Victoria over there...9 grand and and tug on the bars right when I hit the NOS oughta do it...

"Yes, is this the Port of Victoria? Great, I'll be right over!

Panorama shots from Hurricane Ridge

Arrr!!! The sun, me laddy! It hurts me eyes!

"Yer goddamned right this smile is frozen on my face...The fucking sun has blinded me, and welded my lips to my gums!"

It's been a couple of years since I've been up to Hurricane Ridge. I was born and raised in Port Angeles but have been gone a long time except for visiting.
For the folks that have never seen the area, it's BEAUTIFUL!

Hey guys,

I'm getting ready to upgrade my digital camera. Going to a SLR body Canon. The new one is better than the old high end model, and half the price.

Now Megabyte you gotta know we were thinking about you yesterday.!

But certainly not at one point I got a shot to get by a car that hung Swft and I up a tad bit. It a what seemed to be a blink of an eye I saw the shift light (set for 11,200) come on in 4th gear I caught fifth and hit the NOS button. The shift light came on and bang 6th gear more juice and then things seem to get blurry and the shift light came on again. At that moment I rolled off the gas, and started slowing as my closing speed on the cars ahead was nearly 150 miles an hour more then they were doing. It's those moments that remind me why we have these machines!!

You know, Zdroolagain, I'll bet that when you get stopped my Washington's Finest, they expect to see some damned kid under that helmet. Then that grey hair fluffs out.....

I'll bet they shake their head, make a comment about how you know better, then go on, right???

On three occasions over the past 3 years I have been pulled over some kind of Hooligan act and when I pulled my helmit off the jaw drops on the trooper and he says Mr. Blair I really expected a much younger face to pop out of that helmet! Or I expected a different hair color! And then they smile hand me back my license and tell me to be careful and have a nice day.

It's really tragic when you consider the abuse I've put this 17 year old body of mine through!!
