Haven't got much to add to this except the following. I've been making bike decals for 14 years. In the UK, we were the first to make "race replica" decals available to the public. We spent a lot of time on reproducing EXACTLY the designs people wanted, and when I say exactly, I mean exactly - to the extent that even team Marlboro bought from us for their exhibition bikes. Yes, we infringed copyrighted logos when we couldn't get permission to reproduce them. Big deal...we knew that they had to pursue us, and they knew it was free advertising for them to have hundreds of Lucky Strike (or whatever) Suzukis on the street. After a few years, our graphics kits were in every mail order catalogue. Not made by us, of course, but by the cheapest backstreet screenprinter. The stuff was just awful, anyone with a desktop publishing prog could have produced the "artwork"...but we couldn't move, it was all copyrighted material, so we packed it in about 5 years ago.
I still do bike decals for friends, but it isn't my business any more. Recently, a friend with a ZX12R asked me to make him some decals. I knew Redelk was in the biz, so I asked him if he had a file. Within 24 hours, I had it, free of charge. It looked good. I zoomed in. It looked great. I zoomed right in. It was perfect. Lovely smooth arcs, no bulges where a straight met a curve. No excess points on the arcs. Colour separated and combined versions. Clearly the work of someone who cared and understood vector files, and beyond criticism by any reasonable person. Thanks Elk!

As one who has been to see The Pastor at work on some decals, I know anything he puts out is top notch. I watched as he moved some decals on a vehicle and measured and measured and measured and measured.....all the while I'm sitting there thinking "Stick that Mo F'er on there Sherm!!"
Needless to say, the customer came to get the vehicle while I was there and he was definitely pleased. I took the time to check out the whole operation and see some of the graphics Sherm had done previously. Better than what I can get locally for sure. Prices seemed pretty cheap for those stickers he sent out too. Especially since the Fishy one got a double order.
I visit both sites and enjoy each of them. I'm not getting into any politics between the two, but I usually check here first.......hehe

So Sherm, what does your bike/car/truck/toolbox look like? If I had my own sticker maker, I'd go nuts. But, I suppose after doing it for so many years it would kinda wear off (or you'd grow up, which I never did. LOL)

Shit 12rPilot. Sherm's truck is a fucking MONSTER!! It's awesome and doesn't need any stickers. His trailer on the other hand....

Outlaw.... I editted Phinger's post at the request of another member. Just like Dale's site (which is constantly editted/ deleted) if a member emails with a valid concern regarding a post, we will edit or delete it at their request. (esp if it violates our service agreement)
Since this rarely happens (like 2 x in 3 years) you just happened to be here to witness one of the times.
