David Jefferies Killed Today!!!!!!!!!
Brit David Jefferies was killed today in a practice crash at the Isle of Man. Jefferies crashed his Suzuki GSX-R1000 today at Crosby, suffering fatal injuries, according to race officials at the Isle of Man.
Jefferies was 33 years old.
The red flag was displayed at the Grandstand and all riders finishing their first laps were brought back into the paddock. Those who had already embarked on their second lap were halted at Glen Vine, according to the release.
Jefferies was the outright lap record holder at the TT and had lapped at 125 mph on his first lap today riding his 1000cc Temple Auto Salvage GSXR Suzuki.
The organizers have instituted an immediate enquiry into the details of the incident.
This guy had more Balls than anyone on a motorcycle in my opinion!!

The only thing worse than this was Joey Dunlop's death! Joey because of the worthless race he got killed in. At least Jeffers got killed at the Isle of Mann, Joey got killed in a rain storm in the Check republic, riding a 125!

He will be missed for sure. It would have been worth anyone's time to make the pilgramage to the TT to see him run.

It is the most amazing and deadliest form of motorcycke racing there is. His talent and courage will be missed. Somewhere in motorcycle heaven the engines are starting to warm up with the likes of Joey Dunlop and Jeffries now reunited.

Very SAD!! David Jefferies had balls as big as coconuts the way he rode the isle of mann. I WILL go to see the isle of man before i stop suckin air.I lived in england for 7 1/2 years and somehow never made it over there.

Very sad; the record holder killed. If any of you watched the 127mph lap from last year you know what I mean. The guy was awesome; especially for a BIG fella. I'll never forget the "saying" he had on the side of his bike:
"Powered by Pies"

Yep....
Yeah Otis, Lucky and I were talking this morning about how unforgiving the IOM TT is. It is a totally different ballgame versus a racetrack. It takes major gonads to run the pace those guys do in that environment. I'd love to go see 'em run the TT some day.

I will miss watching the bad moe foe running hot laps at the Isle of Man.
33 years old. About as good as it gets for reaction time and reflexs.
RIP David Jefferies you will be missed
This guy was the only racer in the world I'd like to have sit down with and a cold brew with. I don't why but he seemed like one of the good guys in this world. Badly Missed from the USA.

He was a great guy,and amazing rider.I watched the Isle of Mann TT 2002 Review a couple times,....WOW.
I can't say I'm suprised that any of those riders bites it big,riding like that.
Wonder how long his record will hold up??
