Muzzy Cams

Any before and after Dyno #'s for Muzzy Cams. I read 6-8 hp. Seems like $1380 (Cams @ $899.95 and Springs @ $380.00) Plus labor ? is kind of steep for the modest gains?

The first 15-20hp are easy/cheap-er to get on any machine...it's the last 10 that's a bitch/EXPENSIVE...

Not only is it expensive it comes at a cost. Loss of ridability. Cams will give you more top end and shit on the bottom and mid. If you are looking to be king on dyno shootouts you need to look at a turbo or NOS. The 1361 is a usuable, mellow monster. And there is always someone out there with more cubic dollars / horsepower.

That said Ricky Gadson has gone quicker in the quarter on a ZX6R then I have on my 1361 with NOS!

I don't see most things costing any more than anyone else. Examples would include billet clutch, cam chain adjusters, timing advancers, swingarm spools. Some things are definately one-off, like their steering damper, and of course, that's going to add to the cost. But the price diff between a falicon crank and a muzzy crank is negligible.

*heh* What's funny is that they sell a ton of cruiser and ATV pipes as well! So everytime you pull up along a metric cruiser at a like, don't look over and sneer! Instead, tell him bout how a Muzzy pipe would look and sound great on his bike!
