Good luck with the planed body work Vince. If you think your big, Hell I have to look like Fat Albert with a green jacket on when I ride. After reading this thread, I wonder now how fast my bike will go with no mods except for a Muzzy full system. Because at 6'4 255 I know I cand lean over enough to creat "clean" air. Hope to see you post something close to or in excess of 200 mph soon

I've actually started doing that recently. I only pick up my head enough to see the tach.

I would be happy if I was your small size! I have the same weight, but 5 inches shorter! With my Stock engine, If I cannot go 190, then I have failed. I feel that I will need the Stroker and Bore to be around 1340 to even have a prayer to reach 200 in the standing mile. I do want 200 without spray, but I am going 200 with or without it!

Front part too high. Plan to fix this with the removal of the gas tank!

Close! Stock engine more or less with a straight pipe ran about 193 and then 197, then 210. Bergis says he sprayed it! I am not sure! But you see what I mean about "AERO"!!

Actually it is a special fairing made for the ZX 12 and even has a careful made ram air that needs to be extended 1 inch!

ONe trick I have picked up over the years Vincentis to put a dense foam pad on the tank. About 2 inches thick. It is a chin pad. When I tuck and put my helmet down I have troubles bending the old neck enough to see and by putting the helmet chin on the pad I can rotate the helmet up so I can see out of the visor! Works damn well and lets you bend down behind the screen and still see!

Actually I have a 1 inch thick dense black foam pad, but there is no need for it with the present set up because I can not get to it and stay. That is why I am removing the top part of the tank (To make way for my Body 54 Chest 44 waist takes a lot of space) then I will use a 1/2 inch foam pad over the entire area and adjust it to see. Plus the new shield will be clear to the bottom in front. I must first fit the bike!
