IE 6.0 Question/problem
Okay.. so I installed Explorer 6.0 ... now when I go to threads that have flash movies posted within, they dont play back (blank space with a scroll bar on right side only).... if I go directly to the refering file's page, the flash flix play back just fine... just never from within posts...
Used to werk just fine with 5.5 ..... what the heck did they change in this version, or just what do I have to "adjust" to make this werk again?

No more Netscape plug-in compatibility......
Try going to www.macromedia.com and www.quicktime.com and get all the plugins again.

Gatesware
I'm afraid to upgrade my EI5.5 because of bugs I've heard of.
Fish...What version of Media player are you using? I tried version 7 but it wouldn't play multimedia off the web. I kept getting message that internet was not connected. So I went back to version 6.4 and all problems dissappeared. -ZXtra

white l.... the problem is NOT with macromedia OR quicktime.. the problem is with shockwave/flash, and ONLY within this board, not with flash in general

Lookie there. Doesn't work for me either.
IE6, Win2k.
IE6, WinXP Pro... both, a no go on the link you posted. Empty box.
Must be a security setting. Sorry the reinstall didn't do it.
