George Harrison died yesterday
I am not the world's biggest Beatles fan, but I did have the world of respect for Mr. Harrison. Though his level of talant and how much he contributed to making the Beatles what they were and what they are today, will always be debated, no one can say that he did not have an influence on what popular music is today. As he said... "All things must pass.".
George Harrison - dead at 58 of cancer.

Bummer No matter how significant, or insignificant, he was with the Beatles he still contributed to "Their" music. I agree with you redelk, he did have an impact on popular music, and IMHO was a genuine talent. He will be missed I'm sure.

R.I.P. George. He was a MAJOR influence to me. He's the guy that made me drop the steel guitar and play one "that you hold like this"...(my very words to my parents after the "invasion".
