PowerCommander Throttle Position
Ok...just noticed something odd last time I edited my map.
The Throttle Position sensor IN the PC3 software reads 1% while the throttle is closed on the bike....and when I open it all the way..it only reads 94%
How does this impact the map?
Id have to assume that at WOT on the bike (94% on the PC3) that its still using the 100% map range...if it wasnt...Id have blown up the bike by now with as much gas as im runnign through it.
I was just curious as to how exactly these 80%/90%/100% throttle columns work??

you can reset those number with the software.
I can't remember exactly how but it should be done when you put a
pc on the bike. I think it is under utilities when the software is communicationg with the PC3.

it did give me the ability to set the voltage numbers for 0 and 100...but I was afraid Id screw it up and just left it alone 
Ill go read the manual later 
I was just curious as to when it stops using the 90 column..and starts using the 100 column

You need to click the 'set throttle position' button in the PC3 software before you being programming. It's likely you've adjusted your idle screw or the choke cable since your last session so the numbers are slightly off, it's an easy fix to reset. Remember it's only resetting what the PC3 sees as "zero" and "100". It doesn't actually affect the bike.
To answer your initial question if you were only seeing 94 then your 90% tables should match your 100% tables since that is the table it will be using at WOT.

Thats a bit odd then...the 90 tables are not even close to the 100 tables.
The 100 tables are nearly all +45% from 6500 on up
the 90 tables dont even get above +5% from 6500 on up.

Try the software setting, I've done it on all of mine. It does not hurt it.
You should easilly get the 0-100%

That's one of the first things I do when mapping bikes...set the TPs to 0-100%...after the bike is warmed up...
