Sorry folks...
Well, looks like while I was sleeping after being up all night... a database client process from another site got just a leeeeettle bit greedy. It gobbled up all the process time on the database server... leaving bikeland and a few others "stuck" with nothing...
All returned to normal now... the way I like it

Update...
Darn... one of the other sites that dumps a load of data in on a regular basis managed to corrupt a table... normally wouldnt effect any other databases on there, but this was a biggy it seems.
We've just been cleaning up the fallout - it's done... some of you may have been online while we had to take the DB down for 5 minutes, sorry bout that. [about 5:25 to 5:30 PST]
All done now! =)
