Pictures of Deck.
The deck is done, well almost done. I still have a couple trim pieces to do and the stair handrail and ballusters. I'll finish those tonight. I am really happy with the way it turned out.
Here is a pic before. See the old 1974 crumbling porch?

Here is the new deck.

I will also be putting up skirting all aound the bottom that will cover up all the old concrete I tore out.

Very nice Otis, now the mormons can have conventions on your front porch while waiting for you to answer the door.

Looks good Otis. Are you going to paint it or put some kind of a deck preservative on it? Just thought I'd ask as one of the problems we see a lot is people thinking the new outdoor woods don't need anything. But in reality they do. And they last a lot longer with a good deck treatment of some type.
Of course what I have seen of your work it will probably end up looking like a baby grand piano. You really have posted some fine workmanship.

Thanks for the good thoughts fellas. No Mike I did not get to ride. Scott and I started work at 9am on Saturday and finished up at 7:30 then I worked alone on it for 4 or 5 hours Sunday.
Z, yes I will be treating it but with Pressure treated wood you can't touch it for at least 6 months to be sure all the excess moisture has left the wood from treatment. I then will be using a semitransparent Cedar stain/sealer on it.
Mega, I think I've had enough of deckwork this year, maybe next year OK? LOL

Lookin good Chris. Might as well figure on next spring for the sealer. My treated was so wet it would splash if youd hit it hard. I've bought 3 6x6's to replace one of my posts on the front porch. They either shrink an inch, bow or twist to beat hell. I keep making tree borders/planters out of them.
