Hey Red, In your post concerning the 1361 motor failure you mentioned that the motor was "painstakingly put together" by the dealership. My question is: how do you know? Did they let you watch the whole process or at least most of it. Do you have motor building experience? The reason I ask is because of some trash talking about my local dealer mechanic. I have never had a major job done by the dealership so I have nothing to go by. He seems pretty knowledgable to me (I "test" him with questions I know the answer to). I gotta choose between two mechanics soon. One is less expensive and really well known but farther away. My other choice is the dealership for a little more cash. How did you get so much faith in your dealership mechanic? Thanks in advance guy.
