4 year old gas in tank. Best way to clean varnish?
Hey guys. I just bought a 2000 zx12r. It has 14000 miles on it and has been garage kept. Every thing is clean accept for 4yr old gas in tank. I had to order a new fuel pump. Tank is questionable. Definatelly varnished and a bit of rust. I don't really have the money to buy a new one right now. I called a place and was told to use acetol and mineral spirits.
Need answer fast. I want to ride this weekend. What's the best way t clean this?

I'm sure there are plenty of people with an old A model tank sitting around. Shipping will hurt but I'm sure plenty have one cheap. Post up a WTB in the classifieds
