I haven't finished editing but I wanted to share the initial video capture this is what I've put together so far.. 6.5 meg download

the cam on the bike showing the front suspension is pretty neat, it gives you a better feeling for the motion of the bike, and the feel of the road.
I see you're using WMV9  I'm not there yet.

I use pinnacle studio deluxe 7. I select .wmv, I have no idea how to check or change versions, let me know if there is something I should be aware of compatability wise and how to fix it if needed?

not sure that i would have the balls to do those speeds on such a shitty road surface.
wmv is a free update. just run Windows Update, and it should include it for u in the list of upgrades available. its under the Help menu in wmv, says "check for player upgrades..."

Freek, I will make a public confession. If it was not for "Willie T. Ribbs" I would not have ridden Maxton period. What does he have to do with it? Bill Cosby sponsered him to run Indy Cars and what Happened, This 7 time Trans Am car driver simply refused to "Drive through" the loose feeling between Mechanical Grip and Aero Grip to go over 218 mph.
I looked around on my first trip to Maxton, I did not even see Black Trash men or Spectators. Right then and there, I decided that I was not going to be a WIllie T. Ribbs and how ever it went, I was going to Hang it all of the way out and go as fast as I could. I know that race should not have a part in anything, but it does sometimes and If you knew my record on such things, I have never backed down from "ANYTHING" in my life and hope to God that I never will!

What is Maxton? What kind of road or runway is that you are riding on? And how fast did you top speed the bike at? Thank you.

I'll let someone else give u the lowdown tho, as i'm no expert on it either. couldnt find an official welsite for the 'mile in an case.

Nice video Bergie. By the way I was worried that it wasn't my kind of a race and then about a mile into the ride you made a right hand turn!! Now I can see myself there!

Maxton "Was" a WWII Army Air Base where they trained Glider Pilots. The place sat for 50 years after the war and then was reclaimed by ECTA. Lack of money mostly the reapirs are made with (What they call) Hard packed sand  There are more holes and stones and gaps and ridges than a deserted DC STreet in the Ghetto.
