lol

Well..I havent actually got it on the bike yet...but it was in my old car.

Its pretty simple to use....just open up the back..squeeze the sides and pull the insides out to configure. I had planned on mounting it above the instrument panel. It should have come with a little bracket that you could screw, ziptie, glue, whatever to the cluster.

Wiring I believe is straight forward for power and ground....the tach wire has to be run to one of the coils. I dont think it will work with the signal wire behind the gauges.

Good light, works great. Best deal for the money. Only one thing though, don't get it WET. Screwed mine up washing the bike one day, I had the so called waterproof model too. But it worked great up to that point. You will have to hook the tach feed to a spark plug/coil lead wire.

It's not the green wire on the back of the tach?

Thats the signal wire going into the tach itself....this particular shift light will not work with that signal.

as for the wait delay....It took me for freaking ever to get mine too...numerous emails....posts on cz28.com etc...I was getting pissed....but apparently that delay is the norm with him.

It did eventually show up.

Ya i got one on my Busa as well ,I like it,Its cheap and works like its suppose to.It does not look like much but the dip switches are in the actual light and its real easy to hook up ,Even for a electrical nerd like me.And i just used velcro to stick it to my dash and used a red plastic cap off a beverage container to cover the actual light to protect from water,i just take it off when i am racing.Great light ,Can't beat it.
