any of you jackasses own a 929 or lowered one?
WTF?
The front bolt holding the stock part does NOT come out...how the hell do you put the adjustible link on???
the bolt hits the frame itself....what a pisspoor design....any tricks to do this..or does the shock actuall to have to come off to accomplish this task

this sucks ass...upon reinspection removing the shock will not do a damn thing...the "bracket" thats preventing the bolt from backing out is also part of the swingarm...this is ridiculous!!!
Its hangin already...the rear bolt is out...the front one is giving me a headache.
I decided to start workin on my bike...dremeling those exhaust ports is annoying :/

Oh I forgot, those have the swingarm attached to the motor. The motor is a stressed member. Good luck with that one!

heh..I did contemplate lopping off that little mounting point with a sawzall...redoing the lowering link..then JB Welding the bastard back on the frame....all it holds is the pipe for some reason....Ive never seen a bike that has an additional mount point on the swingarm :/

I figured it out...the bushing inside the pipe mount hole has to be removed...then apparently the lower shock bolt will slide out.
Sad that you have to destroy a perfectly good bushing to mod the bike...but ohwell...not my bike
