Red, your posts...
Red, your posts have such a quality about them.
They are nice easy reading.
Very relaxing and well spoken.
I have to admit I dont read ALL of them all the time. But they are always usefull reading. Some times I just dont have time.(no offense)
I rate them high no matter what the topic.
I know sometimes mine go on way too long and have too many numbers and stuff. I'm shure theres people that find some of my detaild posts boring. But thats ok too. Some people like paint and chrome, and some like gasoline and fire, thats what makes this board fun.
We do need to get more quality bike topics started thou.
And more joke threads.
And more shots of zx12r's with chicks on them.
Even if its someones wife. Hey! they dont have to be xxx.
Angi's seen many guys on zx12r's before.
Lets liven up this board a bit.
Fish... music please...

I don't know what to say...
Maybe... "Your check is in the mail".
Let's "tear apart" your post... shall we?

Well... I... uh... *BLUSH*
I have to admit I dont read ALL of them all the time. But they are always usefull reading. Some times I just dont have time.(no offense)
If you did actually have the time to read all of my posts, that'd mean that YOU TOO... have no life!
I rate them high no matter what the topic.
Don't fall into that "trap"! I'm way over rated (except in my own mind) and I'm often more clueless in my posts then those that bother to read them.
I know sometimes mine go on way too long and have too many numbers and stuff. I'm shure there's people that find some of my detailed posts boring. But thats ok too.
Talk about kidding oneself! DUDE! Your are the "ZX12R tech and testing BIKE GOD"! At best, my posts will make someone think for a moment. Your posts have changed the enjoyment factor everytime they hit the starter button (myself included).
More 12R owners, WORLD WIDE, have done your tried and true modifications then have purchased aftermarket parts from all the others COMBINED! My posts are often self ego stroking mindless dribble. Your posts are a technical gold mine! Mine are filled with useless opinion, while your is filled with KNOWLEDGE! Knowledge that CAN NOT be found ANYWHERE else!
Some people like paint and chrome, and some like gasoline and fire, thats what makes this board fun.
Again, this is where we differ. The opinions in my posts have a limited appeal. Your's goes beyond that. It doesn't matter if they are into drag racing or twisty mountain roads. Your informational posts have something that every type of rider can benefit from (okay... where's my check?).
We do need to get more quality bike topics started thou.
And more joke threads.
And more shots of zx12r's with chicks on them.
Even if its someone's wife. Hey! they dont have to be xxx.
Ahhhhhh... this is where I can easily pass the buck!
As your humble moderator, I have chosen not to try to shape the content of this forum (not that you were implying that I should). It appears to be the view of the site's administrators, as well. What makes it easy is that by taking such an attitude, is that the content is shaped by the site's members and not the ones who "run" it. I think all of us here would enjoy and appreciate more "quality bike topics", as well as keeping the ones that have been posted more towards the front page.
The oppertunity to post non-bike related topics is available with the Bikeland forum. It has always been the "general discussion" forum and available for any topic that isn't related specifically to the ZX12R. If many of us really though about it, how much would we have missed if this forum was restricted (that word makes me shutter) to only technical and truly bike related infromation?
LA Busa's GSX1300R Talk was created just for that purpose. Right now, it has less the 7.5% of the posts then their Bike Talk forum has. Yet, if I was a Busa owner (another shuttering thought), where do you think I'd go first to search for Busa technical information? Now IMHO, Bike Talk has recently become much more of a "general discussion" (I use that term loosly... VERY loosly) forum. One has to wade through quite a bit of "non-bike related" posts to find anything that is truly informitive. The more technical posts probably would be found at GSX1300R Talk. It's just that there is likely far more that could be found exclusively at Bike Talk.
This creates quite a delimma for both the modorators and adminstrators of such forums. Where is the "line" drawn? Again, I've chosen the easy way out. Don't draw a "line" (for now). The problem seems to be human nature. I find that even I do not visit or post on that many other forums (here and at other sites) at a fraction of what I used to. If it's not on this forum, odds are that I won't see it. The thing is, I and others here will have to change that feeling of attachment to just one forum before there is any change in this forum's content. Speaking from a recovering addict's view, that ain't gonna happen. At least, not in my case.
Angi's seen many guys on zx12r's before.
Too many, I'd guess! Not that she'd rather see girls, but I think that us guys are being discrimanted against. On the other hand, I'm hard pressed to think of any pics that have been posted here of guys and their bikes... that she'd want to copy and post over her desk. What do you think? At least nothing like this...
Lets liven up this board a bit.
I've done my part. Okay... so this picture has already been posted here. Sue me. On second thought... DON'T!
Fish... music please...
Does this mean that there's ANOTHER feature I can't get because I use Netscape? DAMN! You guys always keep me in the dark on all the really cool stuff!

Geeezuz Red,
You can sure put a pile of words together, I barely find the time to read it all let alone write it. I appreciate all the info, bike stuff and other. I'll wade through the other to get to the good stuff (stuff I think's good).
Dave
BTW - There's a page out for you on labusas ZX-12R Talk.
