Thinking about buying a ARATA!
The price is going up to $1195 and I can get one at a good price right now and maybe test it while I can afford to! This way, if I do not like it, I can sell it at a price way below retail! If I like it, maybe I sell the Step Hindle? It sure has beautiful welds and I have never owned an all Ti pipe! One of the things I want to say before I die is that I had a full Ti system!

I try to stay as far away from Vogons as possible. Their poetry is painful, to say the least, and they are ugly fuckers to boot.

The original person that made "ZHoo" Ti-Force sold out and built another pipe. Arata. It has welds more beautiful than a Akra, and better finish than a Ti-Force and power somewhere in there! personally I do not think it is better than the Hindle step tube, but if it can make the same power in the same places while looking that good, then we have something to talk about.

Yes and very smooth, but from the looks of this picture the one for the 12 looks like it is a 4-1 and I know that a 4-1 will not work on the bottom like a 4-2-1, so I will be doing more Homework!

Yes it is tapered. And it is an extremely good looking pipe. And at last check it is pretty reasonably priced for a Ti system. But I must say I am happy with my TiForce and it is a 4 into 2 into 1.

The Suzuki guys around here REALLY like them. I don't know of one on a 12 yet.
Vincent,
After you get your best price, let me see what Zack can do for you.

Dan, one question, They look to be a 4-1 system, not a 4-2-1, am I seeing this correctly?
I am always courious! My deal will be hard to beat for one reason, I have a buy back agreement is I decide not to keep it and cannot sell it. Dan will you be at Atlanta? I may need to bring something for you, send me an e-mail!

Vincent,
We'll be in Atlanta.
Zack is checking on the pipe configuration for the 12 and I'll let you know.
Finally got the new stacks installed and they work EXACTLY as planned, even the dyno showed the strong points.

Hey Vincent, you were looking into this pipe( Arata), was wondering what your conclusions were? I have a good deal going on one, and am trying to decide between it and the Hindle.

If my bike was for Show, or top speed only, I would consider one. If I planed to ride on the street and needed bottom end and did not plan to show my bike with the Fairing off (Readvery industrial looking welds) I would and have gotten the step Hindle.

Vincent......after you get your best price and see what Zack can do for you.........send me an e-mail........I'll throw my price in the pot too.
I am an Arata dealer (have been for about 18 months or so) but we have not sold one for a 12R (especially the 2000 GREEN model.....heh heh) Yes the Arata is a work of art........that's for sure. I visited with Dan Kyle and Doug Polen at the dealer show in Indy this year and the owner of Arata ( I forgot his name but he is a very nice Japanese man) was there also. He is nothing short of a perfectionist. BIG TIME perfectionist. He said the carbon fiber canister will be available this spring. I think you will really like the pipe if it produces the kind of flat power curve I think it will.
Anyway........give me a shout.........

Yes I am, but when I was looking at this, I was planning on riding it in the street. I have taken it off of the street and a good "Friend" of mine is now making something special (again) for me to use at Maxton.

Vincent, the Arata is nice looking, and will probably provide a flatter curve(albeit lower though.) I would stick with the step. If you decide to unload the step,I'm looking for a replacement for my MUZZY!

The "New" Pipe will be from Hindle also, but completely different. I will keep you in mind, the "S" Pipe and Muffler are in Mint condition and the header on my current pipe is all one piece as opposed to the ones that are slip together at the collector!
