A few Good Questions
I have taken off my Exhaust pipe..
It will be a few weeks till i can replace my pipe....
Should i plug all exposed holes?...
anything i should or could do while i am in there?...
will change oil and antifreeze since i drained it.... any suggestions here on oil type and antifreeze mix?.. i will be using water wetter....

It wouldn't hurt to stuff a clean rag in each hole Voz. Wouldn't want a bug crawling up there now would ya? LOL
I would use 50/50 antifreeze water, maybe even 40antifreeze 70 water. I use waterwetter too, great stuff.
As far as oil you have 20 guys, you'll get 20 differnt responses. As for me, I have used Golden Spectro Synthetic Blend for 10 years.

after a couple of heating problems. I found the best mix for the antifreeze is what the service manual states. 50/50 and use distilled water not tap. also use antifreeze that is good for aluminum parts. I hear engine ice is pretty darn good

Check the graph/chart on the dilution ratio for the anti-freeze (use a high quality, long lasting, anti-freeze for aluminum engines). Use a ratio just below the temp. in your riding area. Example, lets say the coldest it get where you live/ride is 10 degrees, you would dilute the anti-freeze to 0 degrees. Use distilled water to dilute the anti-freeze. I also add some anti-corrosive/water pump lubricant additive. After you make your mix add Water Wetter (by RedLine), just follow the instructions. Spend a couple bucks for a anti-freeze hydrometer to verify the temp. protection ratio. Mix up enough so that you have extra, that way, when you need to add, you don't have to go crazy.
As far as motor oil, the full synthetic is BEST. I use motorcycle specific Amsoil or Mobil 1, only because it makes me feel better. As long as you know that a specific AUTOMOTIVE full synthetic oil won't effect your clutch, it will provide the SAME protection as motorcycle specific oil. Make sure you stay within the manufactures recommended viscosity. ANY full synthetic is overkill, so use the brand that make you feel good. Also don't waste your money changing you oil every 2000 miles. You can run full synthetic oil 5000 miles or 1 year, which ever comes first. The best time to change your oil is before you lay your bike up for the winter. Used oil (contaminated) produces corrosive acids that can damage your engine when sitting.

I put in Engine Ice last summer. Runs one notch down from what it used to at speed.

Peak sells a 50/50 already mixed with Distilled water. Its what I use becasue I can carry a jug with me to the track and when I go play and it has its own container.
