ZX12 19T countershaft
I picked up an 05 ZX12 with about 5800 miles on the clock and rode it across the country doing 1900 miles in 3 days, haven't had more fun in sometime.
Its a B4 with a PC3, Arata full titanium, custom made velocity stacks running 1 short on the countershaft. This is awesome for outright acceleration but I do more touring on her than hurtling down the strip.
I know a bunch of guys like Vince hill and shiphteey I think got 19T sprockets made for their maxton attempts. I was looking for one of these and could not find them anywhere and would really appreciate if one of you guys can help me find one for me.

Sprocket specialist probably, I would go with 18 if ur already at 17, maybe drop 1 tooth in the back, but I wouldn't go any taller than that, imo The stock gearing is tall in stock form as it is

just grab a stock 18, and if thats not enough go 1 down on the rear. gearing it much higher might be ok for touring but its going to take a lot of the fun factor out of it IMO

Thanks for the inputs guys. I am getting a stock 18T in any case, will try and see if it is good enough, because the 17 does feel a tad bit short at about 100 mph cruising speed.

if you go to 19t you need to moddify the chain cover chain guide. it needs taken out and ground thinner for the rounder sprocket.
it is fun calling sprocket Specialists cause it is not (or was not when i called) in the parts list. i told her to just go look. after arguing a bit on i know they are there on the shelf she went. came back and said wow how did you know???
i run 18/50 and for the street i just pop on the 19t front. it is real close to 17/46 but a tad taller twards stock

I know that ring inside the sprocket cover needs to be ground down by about 1/8th of an inch, do you mean the actual chain cover too that runs above the swingarm from the rear sprocket to the front?
