This will be my first trip. We will be headed down on the the 28th me my wife and hpmike.It's going to be a great time.I also think dan and the boys are also coming down friday evening.So i will see you there.

Which hotel did you guys select this time around?
I won't be tech'ing the bikes until Sat morning tho, late arrival Friday night.

Bergie, Not for sure on the hotel i'll check with Melissa she the one who call but i will get that information to you.Also did chris get you taken care of on the 1270 map? Let me know if you need help with anything.

We are a go, just made reservations at the Holiday Inn Express (it's brand new) for $64 a night.

Bart i hope to run 200+ we will just see how thing go.This will be my first trip so i'm sure it will take some times to get up to speed.If it was easy everyone would be doing it. I'm just going down there to do my best and have a good time.Dan an the boys are going down also plus hpMike,Steve an some other 12 rider i know they will help me out and let me know when i am fucking up.A lot of people have try to run 200+ but only a few are in the club. So i will give 100% but only time will tell.If it work out this time great if not maybe next event. One thing for sure it will be blast trying.

I've got a souped up B210 Datsun that'll run 200. How about trying to run some real BIG mph Lucky.

significantly more people make the claim of "Ill hit 200" and leave disappointed...than make it and leave successful 
I should know..Im one of them.
200 top speed..and 200 in a single mile from a stop are two WAY different things

Remember that exceeding 200.0000 MPH does NOT necessarily qualify you in the "ECTA 200 Club". In order to join the ECTA 200 Club you must break an official record to get in the club, I believe the lowest recorded speed (legal for a ZX12R) is currently set at 202.247 mph (mps/g-1350). You must exceed that speed naturally aspirated on gasoline to be awarded the club status.

I (and others) had some concerns about a nitrous hayabusa that set a record in a /G (gasoline) class.
For the record we're not accusing anyone of cheating but rather we want to make certain the bikes running in /G(as) classes this year are checked for nitrous bottles during impound after an official record breaking run.
I know for a fact that one particular Hayabusa had two bottles ON THE BIKE during such a run, and although he claimed he was not spraying the bike WAS popping loudly on shifts which is an indication of nitrous use. Was it? Only the rider knows. The bike was not checked at impound. We saw the tail removed and the bottles on the bike immediately following the return to the pit area. We all heard it, but nobody said anything.
I haven't received it yet but I've been told this was addressed in the latest news letter. I will bring it up during drivers meeting as well to avoid any confusion with riders.
