PCIIIR Timing Settings?

Ive got my new Hindle exhaust system installed, and Im about to install my PC-IIIR. I used the Muzzy Hindle pipe map, modified with Cliff Crandal's low throttle position smoothness fix. I have also used the timing settings from the Muzzy Race map courtesy Easy. Is this map safe to my motor when running pump (premium) fuel? It gives a full 5 degrees advance from 7500RPM to 10,500RPM. I definately don't want to hurt my motor.

Thanks!

Tim

it will be fine cause once you get the motor running at that high of an rpm the spark needs more of a head start. Does the map start off at little advance, maybe 0-2 degrees and then work up to 5 degrees? That's because the spark doesn't need as much of a "head start" at lower rpm's as it would at higher rpm's. Hope this helps

Timing

Yes the advance progressively increases to a max on 5 degrees.

Thanks for the info.
