New member from over the water here in UK

Hi folks
I am new to the 12r I bought in October. The 12 had a couple of mods when purchased JMC lengthened underbraced swingarm, schnitz fork lowering kit, air recirculating block off plates, PC 3, quickshifter, daytona SL1 shift light, 4 deg timing advancer, K&N filters, full Micron exhaust.
I took the 12 to my local strip (25 miles from home ) to see what it was capable of before winter shut down here is a brief on my 2 days running at the track.

Day 1 run 1 60ft 1.810 1/4 mile 10.895
run 2 60ft 1.832 1/4 mile 10.518
run 3 60ft 1.766 1/4 mile 10.091
run 4 60ft 1.760 1/4 mile 10.069
I could not get the quickshifter to work and had few problems changing clutchless.
Pretty good progress I thought for my first attempt on the 12r I have raced many years ago about 8yrs since I last raced. So off home I went only a 30 min drive in the van had a little tinker with the PC 3 trimmed the cylinder fuel 5% and adjusted the gear linkage.
Following morning off i went back to the track below is my days time on day 2.

Day 2 run 1 60ft 1.770 1/4 mile 10.128 the quickshifter not working
run 2 60ft 1.756 1/4 mile 9.972 YES ive broke into the nines foot changing
run 3 60ft 1.730 1/4 mile 9.892
run 4 60ft 1.751 1/4 mile 9.822
run 5 60ft 1.734 1/4 mile 9.799
run 6 60ft 1.653 1/4 mile 9.650
run 7 60ft 1.766 1/4 mile 9.879
run 8 60ft 1.681 1/4 mile 9.791
run 9 60ft 1.709 1/4 mile 16.131 The clutch basket exploded when I shifted into 2nd

Overall I was very pleased with the results from the 12 considering I was foot changing and the motor had never been torn down in its life it currently has 15k miles.
It is currently torn down for some mods the gearbox is being undercut I have a billet clutch basket the cylinder head is being worked by the famous Roger Upperton who is giving me some guidance on engine mods for me to be competative in 9.5 bike here in the UK which is held at Santa Pod and Shakespeare County Raceway both drag strips are local to me.

I have also purchased Dynojet Ignition Module and AEM AFR which is compatible with my SL1 data logger.

Hope I posted this in the right place I'm a forum virgin LOL.

Welcome to the madness. The 12R still holds its own in the right hands. Less torque than the bigger newer bikes but setup properly, great cylinder head, ridden well it does fantastic.

I had to do the trans around 10K because I was using nitrous .... on my streetbike 26K and it doesn't miss a beat.

Welcome to the madness!

This has been in the family for almost 12 years. 31k, and still runs like a Swiss watch. With a little tweaking, I will, at least, hold it's own against the newer bikes out there.
