Has anyone done anything about the battery yet?

Well, the '12's battery is finally dyin. I think the cold (and fact that its a 2000 model with the original battery) finally did it. Problem is, that sucker is REALLY burried in the bikes frame! Anyone figured out a better way to deal with the battery? AS I type this, I'm preparing to attach that stupid possitive cable thing that came with the bike - this setup is very flakey...

What might make your life easier is a battery tender. It'll keep your battery in better shape during storage. I'm putting the hardwired plug on mine so that I can give the bike a boost at the track if needed.
