SPROCKETS

I just need some advise regarding sprocket size.I need some power below 5000rpm.
I got that trademark lag.
Should I go bigger front and leave behind as is,or bigger behind and leave front as is.
As now is standard. Please help....

The 17 tooth counter is a very popular choice.... any smaller and the gaurd/guide on the swingarm wears
much quicker

Smaller sprocket....No need to lengthen the chain....You`ll have slack.....

Thanks for the feedback guys.Ive got a 2003 zx12,acaprovic slip on.Its a bit "dead" on pull
away, and then suddenly it comes alive at about 5000rpm. Hope sprockets would sort out that problem or is it exhaust/air related?
