aerator for a kickstand
What does everyone use for under their kickstand on grass or on hot asphalt to stop that sinking feeling?Only happened once but don't care to repeat the mistake.Sometimes I can't help but to park on grass.

Motorcycle shops , specially those that sell Harley parts, sell round plastic disks for that purpose.
A flattened beer/pop can will work. I use plastic milk cartons for all kinds of washers and hard gaskets ... I'll bet you could cut a few disks out of that stuff, or use a small round 'tupperware' kind of material from Wal-Mart to cut you one.
Small enough so that it will stow in the truck or in the coat pocket.
btw, I saw a guy at Daytona last year that had a good idea. To keep you from driving off and leaving your disk behind, he attached the disk to about 4 feet of parachute cord and put a carbiner clip on the other end. When he parked, he would clip the other end to his throttle cable to remind him to pick up the disk.

Aerostitch Warehouse is a really good company that sells a lot of neet items, suits etc. And they sell a cool Carbonfiber unit with a pouch etc. to store it in. I paid about $12 for mine and it works really well and weighs nearly nothing.
Type aerostitch in your search and it should take you there.

A 3"x3" chunk of stainless with a cable on it so I don't have to bend down to pick it up.

I would think that the nicer the plate, the more likely it will be stolen. Especially carbon fiber.
