Mirror Help
Hey guys I just purchased a 2000 ZX 12R, and I want to change the stock mirrors. I heard you can use both the ZX 7 and ZX 9 mirrors for replacing the stock ugly 12 mirrors. The question I have is what year(1998, 2000, etc.) should I use for the change? Any help would be appreciated.

2000 works for sure. When you do it, you have to unbolt the new mirrors from the stock ZX9 or 7 base plate. And also unbolt the batman mirrors from the stock ZX12 base plates. As the bse plate (part that bolts or attaches to the fairing is different on the 12. But the mirrors bolt write on to the stock base plate. Be mindful of the little shims that you need to reinstall. Also they use locktite on the nut holding the mirrors onto the base plate. If you have a friend around it is helpful so that they can hold the mirrors as you wrestle with them disassembling them.
