2011 ZX-10r Vs. Built ZX-12r Raced a buddy of mine who has a built bike from Ace Performance. I wasn't expecting to win by this guy but the 10r pulled threw.

Good point Shane. The 12 was built by Ace? What mods? Who knows, maybe just had a tune and cams degreed or something. The rider obviously doesn't know how to ride or twist the throttle.
They ran from 2nd. On my Ace 12, @ 6k in 2nd, it stands up hard, or just tries to rip the tire off.
I didn't see any of that on this race, so who knows?
For a fair run, let's ask Sal to go out and run against the 10

I see you posted the so called race with bill on numerous sites, on to the race with bill and his ZX12 he said you had a nitrous bottle under your seat.
Here is what bill told me in his own words ((hey I am an 54 year old fat FUK and not a racer ))and when we were out playing around I was in 3rd gear and garth started in 2nd gear, now everyone has heard BOTH sides of the story!
I would like to invite you to race one or both of our Ace Performance ZX12's
motor to motor you choose ANY jockey you want and I will ride our 12's in 9/10 th's you can run your 125.00 race gas we will be on pump gas you want to bring some $$$ what ever you put up we will double it if you win.

My streetbike has only gone 187 mph so far pump gas...may go 190s but it is a true streetbike stock motor, n/a 12R. Stock ride height and over 500 lbs....it wouldn't be in the mix with the ace 12s and the 10 in Garth's video with his jockey on it. My nitrous one doesn't really see much street stuff anymore. But I wouldn't mind checking out Sal run an Ace 12 against Garth's 10. I would be willing to bring my streetbike out to play chase video duties FWIW.

That vid does not mean shit!!!!!!!!!!!!.......Do it on a closed course with the proper timing equipment and gear like it will mean something....Video that and post or it is just bench racing....

I agree 100%.....My god if I gag my mildly modded mostly oem 12 in 2nd at 6K it will do the same. I could not imagine an Ace full modded motor with spray..LOL. I call BS on the vid it does not prove anything.....
Buddies 05 fully modded 10R with 182RWHP and 385 wet weight is hard as hell to keep on the ground pointed strait in anything but 5th gear.....

Go to a road race track day and find out if you can really ride! IMHO it does take skill to rip consistent times at the dragstrip and the standing mile, but these bikes were made to go really fast, slow down really fast, go left, right lap after lap and keep it off of the ground. So like I was saying go to a track day and find out how slow you really are. he he he he

On my 2k 12r stroker, full throttle in the first 3 years isn't possible w/o smoking the rear wheel, or .lifting the front. Even my stock 12r would come up. I call BS...
