Loose those mufflers and the hockey pucks and the Z 1K would really hit the mark in my opinion.

I think it's an okay bike but when I heard about it I had more questions than answers.
Question 1: Is this bike the foreshadowing of the ZX-10R?
Upon finding out it wasn't came:
Question 2: Why doesn't Kawasaki just punch out a ZX-9R motor like they did with this bike and bring out the ZX-10R? All they need to do is hop it up with a few more performance parts. It'll be like Yamaha's R1 and FZ1, right?
Upon finding out Kawasaki wasn't going to do that came:
Question 3: Is Kawasaki going to have the ZX-10R ready for 2003?
Well, upon reading an article that seems to point toward 2004 came:
Question 4: When is Kawasaki going to get its head out of the sand?
